ABS Sisak d.o.o. started new production in the Željezara Sisak

Danieli Group presented expansion projects for ABS Sisak d.o.o.

 On the April 12th 2012 Italian company ABS Sisak d.o.o. started production in the Željezara Sisak.  The official opening and a ceremony was attended, among others by the Prime Minister Zoran Milanović, Minister of Economy Ivan Vrdoljak, Minister of Regional Development Branko Grčić, County Prefect of Sisak-Moslavina County Marina Lovrić Merzel, Italian Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia Emanuela D’Alessandro and the Mayor of the Town of Sisak Dinko Pintarić. Currently the company is focused on producing the so-called dumplings (round profiles of different sizes) used as a raw material in a variety of manufacturing processes. ABS Sisak currently employs approximately 140 employees. Company already secured the demand for products in the amount of 4,000 tons per month; all production indented for export to Italy, Germany and Spain. The company’s goal for the next 15 months is to achieve production of 27,000 tons per month and increase the number of employees to 200/250.

ABS Sisak is planning further investments which will greatly depend on the market conditions and economy environment.
