The conference was attended by representatives of the institutions responsible for PPP and concessions from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo and Croatia and European PPP Expertise Centre as well as numerous representatives of public, academic and private sector. On this occasion it was presented the Croatian experience in establishment of regulatory and institutional framework, local government affordability determination, monitoring of contracted standards delivery, public investment planning process for minimizing political risks and the role of EPEC in the European context. The representatives of the countries in the region participating in the panel dedicated to the PPP perspective in their countries have discussed the open questions related to the needs of the legal framework harmonization and setting up of the mechanism necessary for efficient public services delivery.
