In the “Global Competitiveness Report 2019” published by the World Economic Forum Croatia has improved its position by five places compared to last year and is ranked 63rd among 141 countries.
Croatia has made the most significant breakthrough in the area of macroeconomic stability, where it is ranked 43rd, a jump of 63 places compared to last year. It is also better ranked than in the previous year in the areas of infrastructure (32nd), health (47th) and labour market (94th).
The competitive advantages of Croatia, according to the report are inflation (1), electricity access (2), trade tariffs (6), quality of road infrastructure (13), etc.
