S&P reaffirmed Croatia’s rating and raised its assessment of domestic economic growth

Standard & Poor’s reaffirmed Croatia’s ‘BBB- / A-3’ rating on Friday, with a stable outlook, noting that the economic recovery thanks to tourism has created the conditions for reducing public debt this year from a record level in the 2020 pandemic.

Croatia’s rating continues to be supported by moderate net external indebtedness and the government’s austerity budget policy in the previous period, the agency points out.
