The representatives of the City of Rijeka and City of Zagreb, Primorsko-goranska County, line ministries and the Agency’s employees have visited Bavaria on 18th and 19th May. This study visit has been organized in the framework of the cooperation between the Bavarian Construction Industry Association and the Croatian Construction Employers Association. The group has visited several municipalities in which certain PPP projects are implementing: spa in Sonthofen, wastewater treatment plant in Wörishofen and schools in Hof and Kirchseeon. The Bavarian hosts have presented their experience in implementing PPP projects from the phase of planning, construction, maintenance and operating to financing and peculiarity of each of these projects. Besides, the group have visited the locations and learned more about the advantages of the PPP model from both prospective – from public and from private partner’s side.
