The representatives of the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness – Davor Pitting and Bojan Batinić participated at the fourth Lider Invest forum held in Vinkovci, after Bjelovar, Rijeka and Šibenik, where the Lider Invest project is being promoted this year.
The Head of AIK’s Division for Investors Support, Mr Davor Pitting, presented the investment possibilities and potential of Croatia in general, with a focus on Slavonia and Baranja regions and current investment projects looking for investors and partners.
During the presentation, Mr Pitting underlined generous investment incentives available for investors, like exemption or reduction of profit tax rate for 10 years and up to 18 000 € employment grants for every new employee.
Slavonia and Baranja are regions with a great potential in cultural tourism, agricultural and wood industry, but one of the prerequisites for better investment climate is stronger cooperation between institutions and entrepreneurs.
The Lider Invest forum is organized by the business weekly magazine Lider for the third year, in order to choose, promote and reward the best manufacturing investments in Croatia in the current year.
